A rap battle ended when white battle rapper William Wolf was punched for using the N-word.

"I ain't like these other battle rappers, they talk too much. Saying I can't say the n-word in this battle ...My n***a," Wolf rapped.

When Wolf got to his provocative punchline his opponent punched him (although not particularly hard) and a third party stepped in to break things up.

Wolf has responded to the incident, saying it was "not that deep" but that he may step away from battle rap for a while because the fallout has made it less fun.

"We all grown-a$$ man. This is a battle rap art form. Sh*t happens," Wolf, who was uninjured, explained.
