Rappers have been calling their rivals "opps" for a minute now.
T.I. thinks they got that term from Call Of Duty.

"Even the term opp, where do you think it came from? Video games. Call of Duty," Tip said. " So, it's not just the music. This is a reflection of society at large. Violence has been pushed in all forms of entertainment. They want to make it seem like drill, music, trap music or any form of music is the sole proprietor [of violence.]"
While Tip is correct that video games can be pretty violent, his claim about Call of Duty and opp seems fishy.
What do you think? And are you impressed with how confidently T.I. can talk out of his ass?
