Snoop Dogg's new gospel album Snoop Dog Presents: Bible of Love moved 5000 SPS in its first week.
That's a pretty small number for an artist who's sold over 35 million albums in his career. But it happens to be enough to land him number one on Billboard's Gospel Chart, which is far cry from his gangsta rap beginnings.
Snoop Dog Presents: Bible of Love debuts 148 on Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200. It's Snoop 25th Billboard 200 entry.
Snoop has three Billboard 200 number one albums, six Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart toppers and, in 2013, Snoop scored a number one hit on the Billboard Reggae album chart with Reincarnated (as Snoop Lion.)
