Saweetie was a guest on Issa Rae's Apple Music radio show, where she talked about some of the female rappers that she's been inspired by. The Bay Area rapper also had positive things to say about Lil' Kim's verse in the 1996 song "Not Tonight."

"My mom listened to a lot of Lil Kim and Foxy [Brown]," said Saweetie, who recently blasted her label Warner Bros. for botching up the release of her Doja Cat-assisted single “Best Friends.” "I've always liked their demeanor ... I know that when they step into the room, like you can just feel that boss-ness. They always just felt so powerful to me. I like when [Kim] says, ‘Tryin’ to impress me with your five G stones / I’ll give you ten Gs, n*gga, if you leave me alone.’ When I heard that, I was like, I felt it. I knew what she meant and that’s just the most boss thing someone could ever say. I love that line.”

How would you rate that Lil' Kim line, and which female rappers would you say had the best bars throughout the years?
