Mac's mom, Karen Meyers, would rather Mac's friends, fans and management stay clear of the project.

"To artists, management & friends: there is a writer doing a Mac Miller biography that some of you have been approached about or will be. This book is not authorized/approved by Mac's family or Estate. We are not participating and prefer you don't either if you personally knew Malcolm," she wrote.

The three men who provided Mac the Fentanyl-laced drugs that did him in have been arrested in the past month.

When Mac's dad heard about the first arrest he told the crowd at a Mac Miller tribute "So they finally caught that motherf**ker."
