Lil Peep's mother Liza Womack is suing Peep's label and management team for his fentanyl and Xanax overdose.

Her lawsuit, which she filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court Monday, names Peep’s former label/management company First Access Entertainment and its chief executive Sarah Stennett, Bryant Ortega, a member of Peep’s management team, and Peep's tour manager Belinda Mercer.

She claims the named parties aggressively and regularly gave Peep drugs during his tours, citing an incident in London during Peep's The Peep Show tour in which he was given a bottle of pills during dinner by one of his managers.

She alleges things got even worse during his final Come Over When You're Sober tour.  According to Womack, he was regularly plied with Xanax, Ketamine and other drugs. Despite being in a "comatose-like state" his managers allowed him to perform.

She says Peep wanted to quit drugs, but his team kept pushing them on him because that would keep the tour going.

In her most serious allegations, she says Mercer encouraged Peep to take "an excessive amount of Xanax" before his El Paso show so he would get sick and insurance would cover a show they believed was going to be canceled anyway.

He ended up performing that night but died before his next show in Tucson.

“This is something that I must do as a mother,” Womack told the New York Times about her lawsuit. “I feel very concerned that they not be exploited. What Gus had to live through is actually horrifying to me, and I’m sure he’s not the only person his age in this situation.”

She is seeking unspecified damages.
