Kamaiyah was arrested two weeks ago after she fired a gun in a private movie theater inside a condominium complex in the Los Angeles area.

TMZ reports the rapper was seen on surveillance camera pulling a handgun from her bag, firing a shot inside the theater, and taking off.

Police believe the gun went off by mistake. Kamaiyah wasn't fighting or arguing with anyone before she pulled the trigger, so they don't believe any malice was involved and think she may have just been fooling around. 

The incident happened last month. Kamaiyah was arrested two weeks ago after a warrant was issued. 

She was charged with felony negligent discharge of a firearm and released on $35,000 bond.
