The Gucci Mane Jeezy Verzuz was perhaps the most notable match-up of the series due to Gucci speaking on the time he literally killed Jeezy's guy Pookie Loc in a 2005 incident.
Now that some time has passed, Gucci says he wished he hadn't played his 2005 track "The Truth", which addresses the incident, during the showdown.
“I didn’t know when I got on the stage, that was gonna happen, I was gonna say that. I ain’t like, ‘I’m bringing negative energy.’ It just really came out," Gucci said on a Rap Radar panal. "When I left, I was like, ‘Damn. I wish I wouldn’t have said what I said.’”
Was Gucci dirty for that?
Especially since there was a reconciliatory tone to the Verzuz until Gucci dropped that Pookie bomb.
