Fat Joe came up in NYC during the crack wars, and they call him Joey Crack.

But that name has nothing to do with drugs.

Joe admitted that in a Tweet posted yesterday.

They call me Joey crack cause the crack of my ass show whenever i stand up girls in my hood gave me the name.  It was never because the drug crack God is great," Joe typed.

While Joe often spins yarns, it sounds like he's telling the truth here.
