Dave East thought he was on top of the world when he took two women back to his Las Vegas hotel for a threeway.

The evening ended with the Harlem rapper charged with battery.

The cops were called to the  Delano hotel Saturday night by one of the women, who claimed East went nuts on her during the group sex and threw five to six punches at her. East claims she was the one who flipped out because he wasn't giving her enough attention and started hurling champagne bottles at him.

East says two of the bottles connected, causing visible cuts to his head. He had to get a CAT scan and is awaiting the results. The woman was also briefly hospitalized. 

Both East and the women have witnesses to support their story. A third woman says she saw East hit the frustrated three-way participant, whereas as one of East's buddies says he only saw the woman toss a bottle. 

Nobody was arrested, but East and the woman picked up misdemeanor battery charges.
