Back in 2013, Chief Keef was a 17-year-old rap prodigy who didn't always show respect to his elders.
He was a no-show for a planned appearance on 106 & Park and that led to what became a decade-long BET ban.

Chief Keef’s decade long ban has been lifted as he’s set to perform at the 2023 BET Awards.🙏🏽🔥
