The Blink-182 Lil Wayne joint tour this summer was marred by multiple Wayne no shows.

However, Blink holds no ill-will towards Wayne. In fact, they say he was a great tourmate and his three high-profile absences were all excusable.

The punk-pop band addressed whether Wayne was a "nightmare" during an interview with KROQ.  [Jump to five minutes.]

"Zero nightmare, he was awesome, his band was amazing, his whole crew, it was fun all summer," Mark Hoppus explained.

And what about the two no-shows?

'It was always excusable, too," Travis Barker said. "Sometimes he'd hit me and be like 'hey, I'm about to let everyone else now, I can't make it to the show because this and that is going on.' It's usually to protect himself and his freedom. Like, if you're in a state and the cops start tailing you everywhere and you're going to get pinched for smoking weed, it's just not worth it.

And that time he stormed off the stage in Virginia?

"The one day where he walked off stage, he had said, ‘I just felt like they didn’t like me,’"  Barker said. "So I walked off stage… ‘I didn’t want to put them through it. I just wanted you guys to be able to get on and do your thing.’”

Hoppus added that the weather was terrible that day, so there was barely anyone in the amphitheater when Wayne went on.
