A lot of people came down on 50 Cent after he used actor Michael K. Williams' death to promote one of his TV shows. Williams died of a suspected drug overdose on September 6, 2021, and now 50 is backtracking some.

“Damn if you didn’t see Raising Kanan check it out,” wrote 50 on Instagram earlier this month. “That fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele. RIP michael k. williams.”

But in his post, the rapper said he didn't mean any harm and was referring to the dangers of Fentanyl, not so much Williams' death.
